Description

Reporting to Chief Member Experience Officer, the incumbent will act as a subject matter expert (SME) on all aspects of adjudicating complex Commercial Syndication Loans.



RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

- Analyze, recommend and/or approve (depending on the credit authority) various credit requests related to Commercial Purchased Loans.
- Keep up to date on the state of the economy, the development of various sectors of economic activity in the Commercial Purchased Loan portfolio.
- Reviews financial statements, projection models, project cash flow models and all other relevant financial and non-financial data to develop a concise focused analytical foundation for a credit decision.
- Prepares thorough credit underwriting identifying industry concerns, market share trends, financial trends, and other pertinent underwriting issues.
- Ensures underwriting and structuring decisions reflect commitment to strong asset quality.
- Oversees the annual review process for the Commercial Purchased Loan portfolio.
- Work with the Associate Business Advisor to develop and maintain practices and procedures for the servicing of all Commercial Purchased Loan portfolio.
- Mentor our Business Advisors and provide training for complex commercial loans.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with other employees and our partners and act as a point of contact within the Commercial Purchased Loans.
- Adhere to Innovation Credit Union policies and practices; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
