The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Use appropriate teaching aides and techniques, in order to meet basic Saskatchewan curriculum standards;
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual needs of students;
Attend staff/community/School Committee/parent-teacher meetings and in-service workshops to develop a greater understanding of community aspirations and improvement of personal teaching competencies;
Participate in operation of the school extracurricular program.
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate;
Experience in teaching high school math and sciences.
Accreditation is an asset.
Excellent classroom management skills;
Ability to teach students of varying abilities;
Cross Cultural experience is an asset
Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
Must be able to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract,
Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector check;
Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable).
