Description

Service technicians diagnose, repair and perform maintenance on automobiles. They are responsible for performing diagnostics using electronic testing equipment and a wide range of tools to diagnose and repair problems. Service Technicians are responsible for performing appropriate repairs and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

The Job
Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy to drive Customer loyalty.
Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing the repair, within the manufacturer requirement and Customer authorization.
Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order with cause and correction.
Maintaining an inventory of hand and power tools required for day-to-day use.

The Qualifications
2nd, 3rd, 4th Year Apprentice and Journeyman Certificate welcome to apply
Excellent problem-solving skills
Motivated with a customer focused attitude
Experienced in mechanical, suspension, brake and engine repair
Drivers license with an acceptable driver abstract
Salary is negotiable based on experience
