RIWC Regina Immigrant Women Centre is a non-profit organization that provides programming and services for the education, integration, enrichment and empowerment of Newcomer, Refugee and Immigrant Women and their families to facilitate and support their smooth integration within the Regina community. RIWC is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. The Assistant will provide courteous and professional reception to RIWC clients and visitors. The Assistant will also provide general clerical and office support
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet clients, answer general enquiries, and provide general information
Answer and direct phone calls to relevant staff
Being a point of contact for a range of external stakeholders and staff to provide administrative support
Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone and e-mails
Schedule meetings and appointments for clients and staff
Provide support in event planning and execution
Prepare and proofread correspondence, file documents securely, and take meeting minutes
Assist management with ad hoc duties
Keep a record of stock and order office supplies for the Centre
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-Secondary Education and a minimum of 2 years of administrative assistance experience in Canada
Effective administrative writing skills and verbal communication
Valid drivers license
A clear criminal record check
Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of Google Docs

Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with culturally diverse populations
Work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Ability to carry heavy items
Flexible working evenings and weekends
