The Prep Cook is accountable to manage all aspects of food production, plate presentation and Hospitality Style Dining to meet the dining needs of the Residents in accordance with legislative requirements and the organization standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares food based on standardized recipes and production sheets.
In absence of Manager, makes menu changes as necessary, orders food and
maintains records as required
Adheres to departmental policies and procedures for department including
sanitation, safety and quality improvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Food Handlers Certification.
Smart Serve Certification.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills required.
