Journeyperson Welder

Location: Scissor Creek Nutrien
Start Date: Immediate
Reporting to the Supervisor  this role will include but not limited to:

Responsibilities:
-Performing welding on structures and equipment to stated specifications
-Conduct performance and quality inspections according to procedure
-Fabrication and welding from detailed prints or sketches
-Troubleshooting structure and equipment failures, documenting and performing repairs

Job Skills:
-Experience underground
-Training and experience running continuous miners, alpine miners, scoops, and other underground mining equipment.
-Ability to work well with others in a team environment
-Experience with Ventilation/ Air flow underground
-Experience with Ground Control Underground
-Valid General Mine Safety Awareness (GMSA)
-Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required
