POSTION SUMMARY
This full-time position is responsible for the overall facility maintenance of YWCA Saskatoon. The Building Maintenance Manager position has responsibility and oversight for all physical operations at YWCA Saskatoon and the Saskatoon Community Village. The position is responsible to perform a variety of skilled duties, which may include light H.V.A.C. work, swimming pool systems, industrial pumps, simple electrical repair, general maintenance and maintenance of all mechanical systems.

Responsible for maintenance oversight for all physical building operations.
Notify Facilities Director prior to beginning work when a maintenance job is beyond the maintenance workers skillset; report to the Facilities Director with a development plan to complete project potentially contracting supplemental professional services  
Supervision and monitoring of all maintenance activities including all contracted activities and casual and part-time building maintenance staff.
Manage after business-hour support building maintenance services. This includes regular on-call responsibilities.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to appropriate loss prevention measures
Ensure Material Safeties Data Sheet (MSDS) information to remain current
Responsible for maintaining routine and specialized equipment warranties and maintenance agreements for machinery and equipment within facility
Supervise & perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual facility safety checks.
Supervise and perform painting, carpentry, minor electrical, dry wall, cement and tile masonry, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing or remodeling YWCA owned and operated facilities.
Recommend purchases, cost saving measures, and assists with the development of the facility maintenance budget; responsible for inventory control regarding maintenance materials
Performs related duties as required
