Description

Dilawri Group of Companies, SK Region is currently looking to fill a position of a Used Car Reconditioning Service Technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Perform inspections on used vehicles in inventory with the utmost care, efficiency, and consistency according to the dealership and manufacture standards and requirements.
Complete all required reconditioning and repairs in a quality manner/standard and ensure all documentation is completed/attached per requirements.
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair.
Communicate with the Parts Department to secure required parts.
Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service repairs.
Notify Service Advisor immediately if further work is necessary, if work outlined is not needed, or repairs cannot be completed within the allotted timeframe.
Document in detail the cause and corrective repairs performed along with photos and/or videos.
Perform wheel alignments and adjustments as required.
Road-test vehicles to quality check work performed.
Responsible for practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice or Technician.
Complete web training and attend factory-sponsored training sessions.
Maintain a neat and orderly workshop and work bay daily.
Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
Comply with required health & safety regulations.
Additional duties as requested by manager.

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

3+ years of Automotive Technician/Diagnostic Technician experience or equivalent.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be extremely organized.
Pay close attention to detail.
Be self-motivated.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Signing bonus for the successful candidate, based on experience and tenure
