Description

The File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.

The position will work as part of the All Nations Healing Hospital and First Nations Health Services team, based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK.

Reporting to the Manager of the Womens Health Centre or designate, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering care and services to support women across their reproductive lifespan, including prenatal and post-natal periods. Working in a harm reduction and rights-based philosophy approach, this position will also provide information and counselling related to birth control, pregnancy, emergency contraceptive, and HIV/HCV testing.

Qualifications:
Degree in Nursing and be eligible for membership with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
Current certification in First Aid/CPR level C
Ability to work with Traditional Knowledge Keepers and community members with familiarity and respect for all cultures and traditions
Valid Saskatchewan drivers license
Criminal & Vulnerable Sector check required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and to work in a multidisciplinary team based working environment
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated computer skills

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (7.5 hrs./day). Flexibility may be required due to operational requirements
Rate of Pay: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
