Description

The Saskatchewan Research Councils (SRC) Organizational Effectiveness Division is seeking an Applications Programmer to join its Information Technologies section.

Accountabilities
    Develop, modify and maintain a variety of SRC-developed and commercial software applications
    Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
    Assist in installing software, hardware and interfaces with third-party technologies for existing and new applications

Qualifications
    Computer Systems Technology diploma or equivalent
    Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (C#, VB.Net), Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2014) to create applications and websites is an asset
    Experience troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software problems
    Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure is an asset

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    Flexible to shifting priorities while efficiently and effectively managing time in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines

The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
