Description

Working collaboratively with colleagues the Cultural Liaison is responsible for the development and implementation of culturally appropriate initiatives, programs and services that support the success of indigenous and non-indigenous participants in the Raising Hope Program.  The Raising Hope program provides 24 hour residential supports to pregnant or early postpartum women who have substance abuse issues, are homelessness, and who have involvement or potential involvement  Child Protection authorities. Using a culturally appropriate lens, the Cultural Liaison facilitates group and one-on-one programs with participants and their children in life skills, effective parenting, domestic violence, healthy relationships, etc. that contribute to their growth and overall well-being.
