The Opportunity
If you are a working student who enjoys data analytics - we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking to fill a temporary (August 15, 2022 to June 30, 2023), part time Data Analyst position.
Anticipated to be between 2 10 hours per week. For the most part, the work can be flexed around other commitments as it is planned in advance.Work would be conducted remotely with weekly meetings via Teams with the Director of Operations.
Main Purpose
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, analyze internal and Statistics Canada data to support business cases and policy work.
Primary Responsibilities
-- To produce quarterly reports on cases using an SOP and standardized templates
-- To produce ad hoc reports on:
- Clients per day at various court locations
- Number of clients who would qualify if eligibility guidelines were changed
- Amount of time spent per file by staff lawyers and private bar
- Saskatchewan demographic trends
- Other topics related to LASs strategic priorities
Skills for success
-- Required - proficient with Excel
-- Desired above average writing ability; experience writing in/for government
