Description

The Battlefords Housing Authority (TBHA) is looking for a Maintenance Plumber to join their team.  The primary focus of this position will be on plumbing and gas work; other types of maintenance and repair work will also be performed.  

What you'll do:
-Perform varied regular, preventative and emergency service on furnaces, boilers, water heaters, water lines, drains, drain lines, taps, hardware, fixtures, toilets, valves, and sewers
-Replace pumps, motors, and controls
-Inspect property units to identify required repair and preventative maintenance
-Maintain equipment and property, and accurate records
-Monitor/analyze water to ensure heating systems are operating within industry standards

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality

What you'll need:    
-Minimum Grade 12 education, supplemented by Journeyman's status in Plumbing and a general gas fitters license.
-6 years experience in the plumbing trade
-Knowledge of pipefitting, mechanical layout, carpentry, refrigeration, electrical and control systems
-A valid drivers license, own vehicle and tools
-Participate in on-call system
