Description

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Shipper/Receiver to join our team at our Annaheim location. Our shifts rotate bi-weekly from 6 a.m.  2:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  1 a.m. and we accommodate shift preferences where possible.
WHAT YOULL DO
Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, the purpose of the Shipper/Receiver is to ensure with 100% accuracy that the correct type and quantity of parts, components and materials are recorded and in their correct locations, ready for production.
Key accountabilities include:
    Greet suppliers
    Accurately and efficiently monitor all inventory movements into and out of the plant
    Use location maps to identify and place items in correct storage locations
    Check that all items are received undamaged
    Package all outgoing shipments to ensure safe transportation by the scheduled shipping date
    Perform cycle counts
    Complete all receiving and shipping documentation
    Place priority items for production in the proper staging locations
    Maintain a clean work area
    Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
    Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

    Material handling experience within a manufacturing environment
    Experience with lean methodology is an asset
