We are looking for a Journeyman Instrument Technician to work at Northern Saskatchewan mine sites. Reporting to your direct supervisor on site, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient installation of all aspects of electrical construction and maintenance projects as required. It is understood that your role may change as dictated by job requirements.
Shift: 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out, 11 hour days
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Ensuring the proper and efficient installation of all aspects of instrument installations and maintenance projects as required
-Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation equipment on new or existing
-Comply with Companys corporate Environmental Health and Safety manual
-Adhere to the Company and the customers policies and procedures as they apply to each project
-Responsible for efficient use of materials, equipment, and performance of all field related activities for each task/project
-Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications, project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer requirements
-Maintain Drug and Alcohol clearance
-Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers and co-workers during all contact, displaying positive behavior, attitude, and workmanship habits
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Red Seal Journeyman Certificate
-Current Fall Arrest and EWP Certificates
-Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull
-Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
