SAMAs technology landscape is Microsoft based with a focus on SQL server, C#, and VB.Net development for in-house applications. As its primary application, SAMA uses Harris Governs OpenForms technology platform to run its SQL-based computer assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system. Additional SQL databases are used to accommodate supporting services. An Enterprise Service BUS (NServicebus) is used for automation and connection of SAMAs internal systems to the client facing web portal. The web portal provides an easy access point for client municipalities to order services from SAMA and, along with the general public, provide access to assessment information using the SAMAView application. SAMAView is a map centric (graphical) application that is based on ESRI technology. ESRI products are also used to support the assessment system.
