The Village Grenfell Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic full-time caregiver. We are open Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm and closed statutory holidays. We provide childcare for children 18 months - 12 years of age. We also offer before and after school care for children in Pre-K 12 years of age.
Duties include:
-Working cooperatively as a team member by communicating and contributing information on a regular basis
-Assisting the Director with programming
-Providing developmentally appropriate activities
-Modeling appropriate behavior and positive behavior management techniques
-Maintaining open, friendly and cooperative relationships with families
-Helping children clean up activities and general tidying of center
-Assisting in housekeeping duties (sanitization)
-Serving snack and meals
-Helping with cooking
-Attending monthly staff meetings
Qualifications:
-Early Childhood Education level I, II, or III or willingness to obtain
-Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sectors check
-First Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain
-Safe Food Course or willingness to obtain
Compensation:
-Dependent on level of training starting as follows plus wage enhancement grant: ECE I $15.56, ECE II $18.08, ECE III $20.43
