Description

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Engineer, Distribution provides engineering services to support the planning, design, installation, modification and operation of distribution facilities to accommodate the expansion, maintenance and integrity of the distribution system. This includes the provision of technical services for engineering activities or project requirements, ensuring sound application of engineering and industry practices, technological advancements, and identification and recommendation of effective business solutions to support departmental and Corporate objectives.

Qualified applicants will possess

-Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial or Petroleum preferred).
-Professional Engineer Designation and registered to practice in Saskatchewan.
-Five (5) years of progressive engineering experience.
-Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.
-Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.

An Engineer-in-training may also be considered as a path to advance to a Professional Engineer.

A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered

Additional Information
-Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters may be required.
-A valid Class 5 drivers license is required.
-This job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).
