Were searching for a bookkeeper.
On behalf of a well-established construction company, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, we are searching for a part-time bookkeeper. The candidate should possess strong communication, organizational, and bookkeeping skills. They must be able to work independently and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
AR/AP/Payroll
Invoicing and vendor postings
Reconcile accounts, credit cards, bank accounts, monthly vendor statements
Post and maintain journal entries
Preparation of month-end and final reports
Year-end preparation
Processing statements for accounts receivable
Filing source remittances for PST, GST, payroll, and corporate tax
Other supportive duties as required.
Requirements
Strong QuickBooks and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). 5-10 years experience (preferred), minimum of 5 years experience is required.
Proficient written and oral English skills
Great interpersonal skills that allow the individual to communicate effectively with other team members
The ability to adhere to deadlines
Familiarity with general accounting principles
Experience in construction related bookkeeping is an asset
Compensation
Part-time 24 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
