Description

The Regina Early Learning Centre invites applications for a Teacher Associate.  

Duties Include:
Under the guidance of the Teacher help make the school a learning environment through planned play and directed activities as per curriculum guide.

Interact with children on individual small group and large group basis. (May include planning and implementation of special programming, for example, speech/language, Cree language instruction.)

Be aware of developmental stages of children and assist the Teacher in activities to meet these needs in the areas of physical, cognitive, language, and socio-emotional development.

Participate in Family Outreach activities as per program.

Qualifications:
Teacher Associate must meet qualifications of an Early Childhood Educator I,II, or III.
Teacher Associate must be able to work co-operatively in a team situation, be flexible, and assume responsibilities.
Teacher Associate must be able to work without constant supervision.

The Regina Early Learning Centre works cooperatively with low income families to provide programs which foster the healthy development of children from prenatal to five years of age.
