Henderson Insurance is looking for talent in the insurance industry!

We are accepting applications for those who want to start a new career in commercial insurance.

The Independent Business Unit Account Executive (IBU AE) has the primary responsibility for the growth of a book of business and clients that generally have premiums of less than $25,000.

Scheduling for this position is flexible as some evenings and weekends are included as part of our teams culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a high level of service to the existing IBU book of business while growing the client base via referrals and other prospecting activities;

Leads are provided from Personal Lines, Commercial and the IBU Account Executive will be required to follow-up on those leads;

Marketing and possibly providing proposals to various Insurers for quotation;

Providing proposals and quotations to prospects;
Visiting clients premises as appropriate;

Attending to the policy service needs of an assigned and produced book of clients;

Attending to underwriter requests on small business policies, including the production of applications etc.;

Both new business and client retention are key to the success of this position;

Develop with the IBU TEAM a plan for each year, to include prospecting new business activities, growth targets, program development (as appropriate), and service planning

REQUIREMENTS:

*Level 2 General License; other insurance related designations plus related experience may be considered

*Minimum of 2 years commercial experience

*Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and clients communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
