The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Community Program Coordinator for the Recreation and Community Services Department at the Legends Centre. Working from 11.30 am to 8.00 pm, Monday to Friday; and reporting directly to the Community Program and Events Supervisor, the Community Program Coordinator is responsible for researching, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating all recreation programs and special events for the City of Warman. This position will provide supervision, mange conflicts and problems that arise as well as identify and implement solutions for the evening and weekend events and programs at the Legends Centre.
Requirements:
A minimum of one (1) year experience in the parks and recreation field or a related field.
A diploma or degree in recreation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
A valid Class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract.
First Aid/CPR/AED.
Must be subject to a police criminal record check to determine suitability to work with and around children and youth.
Must be bondable and able to receipt monies from facility rentals.
Strong MS software and PC skills.
Must be able to work evening and weekend shifts.
