Western Athletics is looking for a Cheerleading and Tumbling coach to join our growing program. We are a Competitive All-Star Cheerleading Club based in Swift Current offering programming for youth ages 5-16. If you love working with youth, are motivated, and interested in the challenge of learning something new, this is the job for you!

We are looking for someone with experience as either an athlete or a coach in Womens Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnastics (T&T), Competitive Dance, and/or All-Star Cheerleading.

This job is primarily evenings and weekends. Must be available and willing to travel for competitions and other events as required.

We require applicants to be a minimum of 16 years of age, have current First Aid and CPR Certification (or willing to obtain), have reliable transportation, must produce a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector check before starting employment, and be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job including set up/tear down of mats and floor, spotting athletes, and ability to stand for extended periods of time.

The selected applicant will be provided with the required training and resources and must be self-motivated to obtain their Level 1 Cheerleading Certification.


Job Type: Part-time, 3-10 hours per week

Salary: $12.00-$20.00/hr, dependent on experience
