Description

Reporting to the Executive Director or designate, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for the HR administration of the White Buffalo Treatment Centre.  The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing, evaluating, and maintaining systems and processes of human resources and day-to-day operations.  The manager directs and leads the human resources activities including job requirements and job descriptions, performance evaluations, compensation and benefit plan administration, recruitment and selection of employees, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

Minimal Requirements: Post-Secondary Degree with a major in Human Resources Management with two years of directly related experience.  A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.  CPHR Designation is an asset; knowledge of federal and provincial legislation on Employment Standards, OH&S, and Human Rights;
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in report and proposal writing; Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality; Valid Drivers License and a reliable means of getting to work; Ability to provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
