Description

The Standing Buffalo Head Start provides a healthy and safe environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, culturally, and spiritually.  We believe that children must be cared for in a healthy, safe manner by caring trained Educators.

Job Summary
Standing Buffalo Head Start requires a cleaner/cook/driver for the full-time running program.
You will be responsible for
Custodial:
Wash, clean, and sanitize all play areas, toys, equipment, kitchen, vehicles, and washrooms
All other duties assigned
Custodial staff should be trained in (including but not limited to)
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
First Aid/ CPR Level 1/ AED
Orientation Level 1, if works directly with children.
Bus Driver: (including but not limited to)
Pick-up and delivery of children to/from their homes.
Provide transportation services for all field trips or excursions sponsored by the program.
Bus Driver staff should be trained in: (including but not limited to)
Class 4 with S endorsement (to drive school bus)
Or
Class 5 drivers license (to drive up to 15 passenger van)
Proper certification and insurance for transporting children, with a copy of certification given to the Director.
Clean driving record, provide SGI driver abstract
Cook:
Experience in menu planning, including the quantity, quality, and variety of food to be purchased.
Knowledge and preparation of traditional foods
Cook staff should be trained in: (including but not limited to)
Safe Food Handling
**CPIC and Vulnerable Sector are mandatory and must be handed in along with a resume**
