As a Member Service Representative I you will promote and sell credit union products and services while processing member transactions through a range of routine cash and non-cash services to new and existing members. You will seek opportunities for our members financial wellness and make quality referrals to our retail team.
What We Are Looking For . . . . .
To be considered for our Member Service Representative I position, you must have Grade 12 education with post-secondary education being preferred and up to one year of related sales and customer service experience. If you already know about the features and benefits of credit union products and services that's an extra bonus!
You must be able to recognize cross selling opportunities, make or refer sales, handle cash accurately and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
A commitment to continuous learning and development is an important part of being on our team as well as taking pride in caring for our members and providing top-notch customer service!
*This position is a casual position, with no guarantee of hours in any given pay period. The successful candidate must be able to maintain the flexibility to work on a casual (on-call) basis and to be able to accept extended periods of work, up to full-time on occasion. Hours will be pre-scheduled in advance whenever it is possible. Hours for this position may be scheduled at any of Cornerstone Credit Union's Indian Head, Wolseley or Grenfell branches, depending upon need.
