Join the QuAppelle Daycare family as our new executive director.


Requirements:
- ECE level 3 education, or taking ECE classes to become a level 3
- Criminal record check

QuAppelle Daycare is located in the school in QuAppelle, Saskatchewan, a community on the #1 highway within commuting distance of Regina. Its a non-profit organization licensed to provide care for 22 children ages 18 months to twelve years old. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The executive director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the daycare and its staff, administrative duties which include but not limited to:

-Administering the policies of the Board by developing and implementing procedures which meet the goals and objectives of the Centre.
- Attend monthly board meetings with a written report, and to provide key information to the Board to assist them in their decision and policy making function.
- Complete monthly financial requirements such as billing, payables, receivables and payroll.
- Purchase services, supplies and equipment as needed according to the operating budget.
- Complete annual licensing requirements and ensure that the Centre operates in compliance with The Child Care Act and The Child Care Regulations.
- Arrange staff scheduling to ensure ratios are maintained.
- Conduct staff performance reviews.
- Ensure the implementation of appropriate developmental programming and oversee menu planning.
- Ensure effective communication with families, address parent concerns in a timely manner, and act as liaison between the board and parents.
