Looking for a part time Student cashier/Sales Associate. The retail hardware industry has a little something for everyone and we need friendly people
who also enjoy constantly learning on the job.
Must be available after schools & weekends.
Be responsible for the following:
Customer Service:
-Provide a positive representation of Home Hardware.
-Ability to work amongst a fast-paced work environment
-Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
-Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
-Ability to work independently, pay attention to details, and take initiative.
-Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
-Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
- Learn of store layout and location of products.
Store Operations
-Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.
-Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise.
-Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the cash desk area.
-Provide assistance with: i.e. price changes, special orders.
-Able to lift(up to 40 lbs)
-Be professional in appearance and actions.
-Perform all other duties as assigned.
