We are a local Ownership / Property Management company looking to hire a live-in manager to oversee two buildings of rental units. Perfect for anyone who has part time work and wants to manage properties as well.
Compensation includes rent and utilities, in addition to repair and maintenance billing.
We are looking specifically, for someone who has a passion for managing rental buildings enjoys meeting and dealing with new people and is highly social. Like all property management roles, success means building long-term relationships with our tenants and others who interact with our properties. Your responsibilities will include:
Regularly interacting with tenants to address their concerns.
Prepare and execute service agreements for property.
Negotiate and/or approve rental and lease agreements for new tenants.
Coordinate and where possible complete medium to large renovation projects.
Prioritize repairs, general building maintenance and cleaning.
Handling after hours emergencies and suite viewings.
Experience in keeping maintenance costs down, responding to clients promptly, and managing effective communication.
Delivering notices and evictions and responding to unruly tenants
