The Position:
The Cook is responsible for assisting with the development of the menu as well as preparation, cooking and baking duties required to prepare food for service. The Cook also maintains the organization and cleanliness of the food services department. Weekends are required.
The Applicants:
Applicants would typically qualify for this position with a grade 12, Food Safe Certificate and cooking experience in a commercial food service establishment. Journeyman Cook qualifications are preferred. Applicants are required to have WHMIS training within three months of employment. Applicants must have had experience with inventory control and menu development. The ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently is required.
