Description

National Trailer Parts, a part of the Dexter Distribution Group, is an OEM Parts Distributor serving clients throughout Canada.

We operate in a team environment, with safety, efficiency, and customer service as our primary goals.

We are looking to add a Full Time Delivery Driver to our team  to make weekly and bi-weekly deliveries to customers, and pick-ups from vendors, in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

The successful candidate will:
    Have a valid Class 1 license with a valid air brake endorsement.
    Have a clean or acceptably clean drivers abstract.
    Have excellent customer relation and communication skills
    Have experience securing loads to and towing flat-deck semi-trailers.
    Be able to efficiently operate highway tractors with both standard and automatic transmissions.
    Be able to perform daily safety checks on equipment and loads.
    Be physically able to get on and off / in and out of semi-trailers and highway tractors.
    Be willing to wear required PPE and company apparel.
    Be able to lift and carry objects weighing 23 kg or more.

Compensation is based on kilometers driven, deliveries performed, and nights away from home.

An employer/employee funded benefits package is available after completion of a 3-month probationary period.

Drivers can be home almost every weekend  weather and loads permitting.
