Description

Restorative Circles Initiative operates the New Horizons Program (NHP) which provides support to Youth and their caregivers who are currently involved in the Youth Justice System.

NHP strives to provide a professional, respectful and culturally competent service to youth and their families by providing intensive one on one mentorship and direct logistical support to youth and their families to achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidates will possess the following:

-Strong verbal and written communication skills,
-The ability to work independently and follow direction when given,
- Have previous experience working with at risk youth,
-Have solid record keeping and time management skills,
-Be capable of working as an effective team member,
- Have the ability to work flexible hours based on the needs of youth,
- Have access to a reliable vehicle,
-Have the ability to provide a Criminal Record check and SGI Driver's abstract on request.
        
A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in the area of Human Services  or similar field is preferred.
