Description

Qualifications:         
Post-secondary education and/or previous experience working with vulnerable people.
Previous supervisory experience an asset
Valid drivers license with clean abstract
Clean, positive lifestyle
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Must pass Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check

Basic Duties:
    Provide leadership and direction to staff members, in all areas, including confidentiality, positive work environment, conflict resolution.
    Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports and complete other program documents (including case notes, statistics, letters, etc.);
    Monitor spending to ensure accountability and appropriateness. Ensure spending policies are being followed and documented.
    Liaison and meetings as requested with Management (i.e.: CBOs, agencies, presentations, transition, quarterly CLSD, case-conferences)
    Be available on a rotation for management on-calls
    Uphold and maintain policies and procedures for all programs
    Assistance with scheduling changes in absence of program manager (ex: call-ins, staff replacement).
    Support with staff orientation and training within the scope of the program, (i.e.- person centred, day to day procedures, medication admin etc.)
    Ensure critical incidents are properly documented and reported to manager.
    Liaison with case workers for day to day consults and programming.
