Job Description: Assists with treatment programs and application of therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Registered Therapist to restore, maintain and/or enhance the level of functional independence and quality of life of clients/patients/residents.
Required Qualifications

Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant diploma
Experience
Previous: No previous experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license, where required by the job
Basic computer skills
Communication skills
Ability to work independently
Laser Certification, where required by the job

Activities & abilities specific to the SHA (Saskatoon).  Travel is required, must have access to a reliable car.


As per Article 11.03 c), applicants without the requisite or equivalent qualifications for this classification shall be considered for this position if they have one year of office experience.

If the successful applicant does not possess the full qualifications outlined on the JJE Job Description for the classification, they will be hired conditionally with the agreement and understanding they will complete the required or equivalent educational requirements as noted in LOU 22 b) v) within 2 years of their hire date.

In a 3 week rotation: 12 shifts of 6.5
