Description

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the organization's Nutrition Program including appropriate snack, meals and cooking programs for children and youth. This is achieved  in alignment with the core values of BGC Canada as well as focusing on key issues and priorities of our community.

Duties include, but are not limited to: purchasing food/program supplies, preparing daily snacks, cooking meals, ensuring kitchen facility is stocked and clean, and developing/implementing nutrition programming for children and youth.

Organization and cleaning skills/abilities are necessary for this position. Nutrition Coordinator Certificate would be an asset.  

Position works Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 6:30pm (35 hours/week); however, hours of work can be negotiable.

Valid Class 5 and personal vehicle required to perform job duties.

Must be bondable with willingness to complete a RCMP Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
