Description

We are looking for a full-time or part-time excavator operator to join our aggregate production team.

Responsibilities Include

- Operate an excavator within the gravel pit (e.g. stripping, loading rock trucks)
- Perform routine maintenance around the crushing spread (e.g. shovelling, greasing, fluid checks, bearing changes, belt repairs, screen changes)
- Notify foreman of any equipment malfunctions

Requirements

- Minimum of 9 months of experience operating an excavator
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Must meet safety requirements and adhere to safety policies
- Capable of using technology in the workplace (e.g. loader scales and mobile apps for safety program, equipment maintenance records and time entry)
- Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen
