THE OPPORTUNITY
The Childcare Worker is responsible for assisting shelter clients with their childcare needs while they are in programming or attending appointments; this is done through planning and implementing activities and lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulate the childs intellectual, physical, and emotional growth.

The employee will be vigilant in character and able to monitor children throughout the day,
ensuring their safety at all times. Parents and Shelter Workers will be able to rely on the
Childcare Worker to maintain clear communication with them and act appropriately in case of
an emergency.
