Degelman Industries LP is looking for individuals to join our team as a Machinist. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine machining operation to be performed.
2. Compute dimensions and tolerances of products using precision measuring instruments
3. Program, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform non-repetitive machining operations with precision.
4. Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Knowledge on safety standards for equipment
2. Know how to use all the tools and materials that are required to manufacture parts and components
3. Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
4. Strong attention to detail
Degelman Industries offers an hourly rate between $23.40 to $27.94 and a group benefits package including Dental and DPSP (Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan) after 12 months of employment. Company benefits will be available after your 90-day evaluation which includes Health and Prescription coverage, Life Insurance, Dependent Life, AD&D, Weekly Indemnity and Long-Term Disability.
