Facility: St Pauls Hospital
Job Description: Reporting to the manager of Clinical Services, the Senior Clinical Dietitian works as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing nutrition care to the inpatient adult population. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutritional care plans, diet counseling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team and provides education experiences for dietetic interims as well as providing clinical supervision and mentorship to the dietitians.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in the area of specialty is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills
Knowledge of the health region and community resources
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
