Facility: Royal University Hospital
Job Description: This Clinical Dietitian position works as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing service to the in-patient and out patient pediatric population. This senior position will provide clinical supervision and mentorship to the dietitians.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in the area of specialty is required.  Preference will be given to applicants with Pediatric Clinical Dietitian experience providing outpatient and in-patient nutrition care to patients and families. Preference will be given to candidates who have Pediatric Clinical Dietitian experience working with acute care medical patients in a hospital setting.  Experience with Nutrition Support will be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills
Knowledge of the health region and community resources
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under
