Position - Our Credit Union is actively seeking a Loans Officer Trainee/Loans Officer/Team Lead to join our team.
Based out of the Gainsborough Branch this position is responsible for supporting our members goals and operation related to all lending activities including consumer, agricultural and small business. They are also expected to be a leader in the branch to support a positive work environment.
The primary responsibilities will include:
Promote and maintain active involvement in the community.
Be a leader in the branch to ensure smooth day to day operations
Conduct interviews with members to identify lending needs.
Perform annual reviews of risk and profitability, identify and monitor trends, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective members.
Identify and pursue opportunities to promote credit union products and services, review current portfolios to ensure members have proper financial solutions.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of applicable credit union policies, government legislation as it pertains to lending.
Support team in all areas including deposit transactions.  
Consideration of Loans Trainee position will be given with the right candidate.
