The Days Inn Regina Eastgate is hiring a Full-time Maintenance Worker. 8 Hour Shifts will be from 8am-4pm and will vary between weekends and weekdays. The Maintenance Worker maintains the hotel in an efficient manner to ensure guests receive a clean, attractive, and secure place to stay. The ideal candidate will have worked in a hotel maintenance setting and understand the requirements and expectations of this role.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the condition and inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and various equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Performs preventative maintenance on guestrooms.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as received from housekeeping, front desk, management, or guests.
- Provides security for guests and property by following all key procedures, maintains work areas in a clean, well-organized condition and follows all safety regulations.
- Maintains cost effectiveness when purchasing items needed by the hotel.
- Pool maintenance (Experience with pool operation will be seen as an asset, as well as completion of the Pool Operator Course.)
