We are looking for a Taproom supervisor for our brewery in Yorkton, Sask. The ideal person to join our crew would have a commitment to learn and grow, find meaning in honest hard work, provide leadership and support to our tasting room crew, be willing to articulate and share creative ideas, and most importantly, be an absolute ace of a team player.
Other duties:
Ability to lead the shift as and when required
Take orders from the guests and prepare/serve drinks/beer
Advise customers on beer styles, profiles, flavours and pairings
Cash counting and proper recording on cash out sheet at the end/beginning of shifts
Ensuring all guests receive an exceptional guest experience through effective staff training & development
Help with customer resolution and ensure that the dining experience is a memorable one for guests
Perform regular table visits and genuine guest interactions as needed
Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislations and regulations
Overseeing & meeting company cleanliness and product freshness standards in alignment with Saskatchewan Health Standards
Assist the leadership as requested in other related duties
Job Requirements
Completion of High School
1-2 years of previous bartending work experience with at least one year of experience in the serving industry
Understanding of the craft brewery industry and related terms
Front-of house experience in a restaurant setting dealing personally with the guests
Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays in a busy fast-paced environment including opening, midday and closing shifts
Ability to communicate well in English
