Description

Mackenzie Society Ventures is accepting applications for a Permanent Part-Time (140 hours in a 4 week rotation) Residential Supervisor for one of our Group Homes located in Canora, SK.  

As the Residential Supervisor you will hold responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Group Home.  You will monitor and coach assigned employees and ensure maximum individual growth, while protecting the rights of the participants living in the home.  You will also share the responsibility of weekends on-call with other Supervisors within the Agency.  

Qualifications/Experience:

. Disability Support Worker certificate or related post-secondary education.  Equivalent training and experience may be considered.
. Two years experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
. Experience in a supervisory role and/or training is an asset
. Understanding of a unionized environment.
. Must be able to budget, communicate, and supervise multiple individuals.
. Have effective written and oral communication skills.
. Able to work days, evenings, nights and/or weekend shifts.
. Current CPR/First Aid, TLR, BST, medication administration training or willingness to acquire, along with other necessary training.
. Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle.
. Able to supply a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment.
. Out of Scope of the Union.
