Description

Develop, hone, and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing

Evaluate and enhance our operations in local spend while researching and prospecting developments in global spend

Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency

Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity

Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks & Help coordinate deliveries

Effectively manage our freight requirements and determine load details

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier base

Consistently record communication with customers and carrier base to ensure we provide the utmost in customer service

Assist procurement team in developing and executing on improved procurement strategies across all channels of inventory management    

Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external (customers)

Providing excellent customer services; acting as a liaison between the company and its customers/vendors; phone calls, emails as required

Ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary or university education (business, operations management, supply chain, or similar)
2+ years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably CPG or food manufacturing.
You should possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in manufacturing, project management, leadership, and statistics/logical problem-solving.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to encourage and get results through mentoring others
Proven ability to coach, facilitate, and inspire team-building skills
Must demonstrate ability to schedule employees and production shifts within a fast-paced multi-shift environment
Results oriented with ability to multi-task in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
