Description

This position is permanent part time at 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate will:
- Order and maintain supplies for various departments of the facility.
- Maintain all outdoor spaces by cutting grass, laying down grass seed, picking up trash and clearing snow or ice when required.
- Complete a variety of repair services, including cutting pieces, installing items, removing appliances, replacing parts and other duties as needed.
- Set up meeting space for special events by preparing a room with adequate table and seating space depending on the number of guests expected.
- Update Executive Director of major issues with interior or exterior facilities, including climate control, damages or pest control.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
- Monthly reading of meters, water temperatures, etc.
- Maintain equipment and buildings.
