Description

Highline Manufacturing is a fast-paced subsidiary of Bourgault Industries Ltd. We are looking for a Millwright or Electrician to join our Maintenance team in Vonda, SK (near Saskatoon). We're looking for a hardworking team player who has in-depth knowledge of fabrication equipment and electrical systems. The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance and repair services to a variety of facilities and production equipment. This includes preventative maintenance, general equipment repairs, and major overhauls and rebuilds.

Responsibilities:
-Safely and successfully complete preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment
-Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to equipment that experienced unplanned down time
-Document issues and suggest solutions to improve the overall performance of the equipment
-Keep equipment in a ready-for-use state by proactively addressing potential future issues

Qualifications:
-Journeyperson Millwright or Electrician. Apprentices may also be considered.
-In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing equipment (welders, presses, saws, paint lines, lasers, conveyors, CNC equipment, forklifts, etc.)
-Effective problem solving skills, including a high degree of analytical thought and creativity
-Very good understanding of electrical systems/electronics
-Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Strong organizational and project management skills
-Positive attitude, showing a strong desire to learn and improve
-Flexibility and adaptability to work on a wide variety of tasks
-Willing to do shift work
