Facility: Nurse Alumni Wing
Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Director, First Nations Mtis Relations (FNMR) and the Director, First Nations Mtis Health Services (FNMHS) of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and provides administrative support in a one-on-one working relationship. This position supports, and contributes to, the facilitation of efficient operations of the Director, FNMR and the Director, FNMHS portfolios, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with the FNMR and FNMHS Team to assist in accomplishing the FNMR and FNMHS objectives. The incumbent will work closely with the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of the First Nations Mtis Health (FNMH) Portfolio to ensure coordination and communication of workflow. The incumbent will also coordinate with other administrative support staff of the Provincial FNMH Portfolio and in their absence, will provide support services as requested.
Expectation to travel as necessary.
Required Qualifications

Completion of Grade XII supplemented by a recognized business course
Experience
Three years of experience working in an administrative assistant-type role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Exceptional planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Knowledge and experience in minute taking and synthesizing information
Excellent computer skills, with a good working knowledge of various programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, Schedule Plus, Visio, Intranet/Internet, and the capabi
