Vitality Veterinary Services is in search of an RVT to join our team. We began as an ambulatory mixed animal practice in 2019 and recently transitioned to a full-service mixed animal clinic in March 2022. We currently staff two DVMs, two RVTs, and one receptionist. Our facility is equipped with an in-house laboratory (IDEXX) and pharmacy. Services offered include mixed animal routine preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, and in-home euthanasia, with small animal dentistry, radiology, and more, to come soon.
We foster a respectful, appreciative, and supportive work environment, and are passionate about providing an appropriate work-life balance. Our technicians do not currently participate in an on-call rotation.
We recognize the full skill set of an RVT, and feel it is important to allow as many of those skills to be utilized as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for anesthesia induction and surgical monitoring, patient care, technician-related appointments, venipuncture, some lab analysis, etc.; shared duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, inventory management, client education in person and over the phone, and other reception related tasks.
We are looking for a compassionate RVT with exceptional communication skills, established technical skills, a hunger to learn, and the ability to go-with-the flow. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is an asset, but new graduates are also welcomed to apply. We offer paid membership dues, employee discounts, medical and dental benefits, and CE and uniform allowance.
