Agricultural Equipment Installer

GFS Projects is a Design-Build General Contractor focused on the Western Canadian agriculture industry.  We design, build and manage turn-key construction projects for commercial farming operations and Ag Retailers across the prairie provinces.

We are currently seeking qualified, experienced candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic to join our team, based out of Regina, SK.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-    Assemble and install machinery and mechanical equipment: mainly conveyors & bucket elevators.
-    Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
-    Use precision measuring tools, gauges and indicators.
-    Assemble and align industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to specifications.
-    Perform diversified tasks such as welding & fitting, equipment maintenance, etc.
-    Have excellent understanding of engineered drawings, diagrams and schematics.
-    Demonstrate safe rigging practices, operate hoisting and lifting machinery during assembly, installation and repair of machinery.
-    Have solid working knowledge of mechanical drives and assemblies
-    Be committed to safe work practices, including completing job site safety documentation.

Qualifications:

-    Practical mechanical field experience as a Millwright or within the Ag Sector is an asset.
-    Journeypersons certification from a recognized school, not required but is considered an asset.
-    Ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly.
-    Critical eye for identifying defects and high attention to detail.

-    Travel will be required.  Must be willing to be away for extended periods.
-    Reliable professional and customer service  oriented.
-    Valid drivers license
